Stanley Leon Gilbert graduated from the University of Buffalo in 1961 (A.B., Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude), and obtained his Law Degree from Stanford University Law School in 1964. He is admitted to practice law in New York, California, United States District Court, Eastern District of New York, Southern District of New York, and United States Tax Court. His law practice is limited to the areas of Tax and Estate Planning and Estate Administration.

Stan serves on the Board of the Wharton Fund as Director of Planned Giving, advising those who wish to include the Nathaniel Wharton Fund in their wills.
